I tried my best to capture the imperfections on this magnificent antique, mid-19th century American Empire mahogany and matchbook flame mahogany veneer game table, which include surface scratches, nicks and dings here and there indicative of age and normal use. That said, the table sits flush and is structurally sound, the dowel pivots smoothly to reveal the game compartment, and the table simply looks tremendous from more than a few inches away -- with the focus being on that magnificent spire within a harp motif and that gorgeous matchbook flame mahogany! The table measures 29.5" tall when the leafs are stacked and the table is closed and 28.5" when open (it's slightly taller due to the casters, which can be removed). The table top measures 17.5" x 33.5" when. The leafs are stacked and the table is closed and 33.5" x 33.5" when open. Finally, the base is 16 x 17. Please take a look at the other wonderful antique game tables I have for sale by visiting my store: all of which came from an estate full of high-end antiques right'cheer in Western North Carolina!
