Antique Empire Mahogany Card/Gaming/Console Table circa 1830
This very useful table is an inherited piece that's been in my home for a while now. I pull it away from the wall and flip the top, and it makes a very practical dining table for four. It's an antique American Empire card table in mahogany and mahogany veneers. It was manufactured in New Bedford, circa 1830.

The finish is original, with one very small area of gatoring. There is one minor veneer chip that's not really noticeable. The brass castors are all original and firmly attached. The table's top is original, with no cracking or apparent warping, as is so common with flip-top card tables.

The hinges are original and in good condition, and the table top swivels freely. There is a hidden drawer or storage area inside. The size is: 36"Wx36"Dx30H. Folded closed, the top is 18 deep.
